Media requests

For press, podcast or syndication requests, use the editorial inbox and include four pieces of information: the outlet, the topic, your deadline and whether you plan to quote directly or paraphrase. We reply within one working day during the week and do not comment on operators under active review, because an off-the-record remark during a review window can derail the file. If the topic touches a regulatory question — a licence suspension, a court case, a change in advertising law — the reply will be routed to the editor who covers the market and may take two working days instead of one. Interviews are usually conducted by email so the quotes stay accurate; a phone call can be scheduled if the outlet records and shares the transcript afterwards. We do not take anonymous requests: the by-line of the writer and the name of the outlet have to be in the first message. Image requests — review screenshots, operator logos we have licenced, charts from our data pulls — are handled by the same inbox; mention the resolution you need and whether the use is editorial or marketing. Marketing uses are declined by default. For syndication, our terms are published alongside each review and are the same for every outlet: full attribution, a link back and no edits beyond length.

How to reach us

The fastest channel is email — the editorial inbox is read by two editors on a rotating schedule, so a message that arrives late on a Friday is picked up on Monday morning at the latest. We do not run a phone line because gambling questions take time to document properly; a conversation that would last five minutes on the phone takes thirty minutes to put on paper in a way that can be referenced in a review. If you prefer a signed letter, the postal address is available on request from the inbox. For urgent matters — a withdrawal that has sat unprocessed for more than a week, a sudden change in licence status, a safety concern involving a minor — mark the subject line with the word URGENT and the operator name so the message is routed past the normal queue. Encrypted mail is accepted; the public key is published on the editor's bio page. We ask readers not to send card numbers, passport scans or operator passwords to the inbox even when they are relevant to a complaint; the operator's own secure upload is the right channel for that material.

Response time

Readers' questions are answered in order of arrival, usually within two working days. Operator complaints and payment issues are prioritised and reach the author of the review the same day; expect a first reply within 24 hours confirming receipt and listing the next step. A single reader report rarely moves the review score. A pattern across several reports in the same week does — if three readers describe the same delay in cashing out, the review page gets an immediate note and the author opens a parallel test deposit to document the current state. Press requests and syndication arrangements run on their own clock, usually one working day. Business and advertising enquiries are routed to a separate address so they do not slow down reader support; the business inbox is also the right address for affiliate programme operators who want to discuss terms, not for pitches aimed at editorial. If an answer is going to take longer than the usual window — because an operator has to be contacted, or because a translation of regulatory text is needed — we send an interim reply with a date for the full answer.

Business inquiries

Advertising and partnership offers are handled separately from editorial, by a different inbox and by a different person. Direct them to the business address listed on this page; do not send them to the editorial team, as it slows down reader support and risks mixing the two queues. We decline integrations that would blur editorial independence: content written by the advertiser and signed by our team, operator-paid changes to a review score, exclusivity clauses that would stop us from reviewing a competitor. Display advertising is sold on inventory that does not touch editorial pages — a side-bar on long-form guides, a banner on the home page, no in-article placements. If you represent an affiliate programme and would like to discuss terms with the business team, send the brand name, the licence country, a sample of the cashier flow and the territories you accept. We do not sign programmes we have not tested with our own money. Co-marketing with regulators, responsible-gambling foundations and problem-gambling helplines is handled by the editorial desk directly and is always unpaid.
